Ramos Newborn Photoshoot

I just wanted to share with everyone a little sneak peek from my latest newborn shoot....

I did Nicki's pregnancy photos a couple of months ago and was thrilled that she asked me to do her son's newborns!

Taking pictures of newborns is no cake walk... there is a lot of stopping, feeding, burping, changing diapers... and everything in between.  Even though a lot of this happened during the photo shoot, he was still the sweetest and easiest baby to take photos of.  And being that he was only a couple of weeks old at this point he still had the widest range of expressions that had me smiling and laughing from ear to ear all day.

I was so excited that I was asked to take pictures of these 2+1.  Such a fun loving and down to earth couple!  Nicki and her husband were so easy to shoot and so natural together that it felt like our session went by way to fast.

Also, I was so amazed at the amount of thoughtful props Nicki brought! (I may have to hire her as prop master for future sessions.) It goes to show that no matter big or small, props can make a huge difference in a photo shoot.  They help tell a story and show off your own personality and style.

Journey & Brandon Newborn/Sibling Shoot

So I didn't ask, but I told by brother and sister-in-law I was taking their newborn photos.  My niece Journey is such an amazing baby as well as her big brother Brandon.  Speaking of Brandon...I wish I could post photos of that little cutie!  Once he's officially adopted there will be a barrage of photos posted by our entire family!

Since he played such a major role in the photo shoot I can only post this one tiny collage of pictures for now....

The Mason Family

I'm going to start off by saying that this family was sooooo much fun to work with!  Briann and I go way back.... so many years back, in fact, that I don't even want to say.  She has a beautiful family, a hilarious husband, and the most well behaved children I have ever worked with.  And on top of all that she's drop dead gorgeous!
